The rules, step by step

  1. Everyone writes one sentence — something somebody could draw. Tap the dice if you are stuck.
  2. Your sentence goes to the next player, who draws it with a finger. They never see anything but your words.
  3. The drawing goes to the next player, who writes what they think it shows. They never see the sentence.
  4. Draw, describe, draw, describe, until every player has touched every chain once.
  5. Then the room watches each chain unravel from the first sentence to the last. No points — the reveal is the prize.
  6. Run out of time and the house hands in a blank page or a house line, so the chain never breaks.

Scoring and the fiddly bits

The reveal is the result. Players do not need to judge drawing quality or choose a winner.
