What Quiz Night is
A quiz for the whole table at once. The quicker you lock in, the more it pays. Play it solo against the house, or with a dozen people in a kitchen.
A category lands, then the question, and the four options only appear after you have had a beat to read it. Everyone answers at once on their own phone — there is no buzzer to lose and no waiting for your turn to come round.
Speed pays, but it never pays more than being right: a snap answer earns a bonus worth up to half the question, so the reader who is sure beats the guesser who is quick. Questions in the back half pay double, which keeps question four from deciding the night.
The last question is a blind bet — you stake a share of your score before you see it. Win the bet and the stake is yours; miss and half of it goes. Small table? Owl, Rocket and Sage take the empty seats and answer too.

How to play Quiz Night
- A category lands, then the question — read it before the answers appear.
- Four options, one clock, everyone at once. Fast right answers pay more than slow ones.
- Questions in the back half pay double, so nobody is out of it at question four.
- The last question is a blind bet: you stake a share of your score before you see it.
- Win the bet and you win your stake. Miss it and you lose half of what you staked.
- Small table? Owl, Rocket and Sage fill the empty seats and answer too.
How to win at Quiz Night
Read before the options land
The question arrives first on purpose — an answer formed before the four choices appear is faster than any amount of tapping.
Guess late, not wrong
The speed bonus is capped at half the question, so a considered answer at the buzzer beats a wrong one at full speed every time.
The back half is the game
Double pay after halfway means a bad start is a story, not a result — play the late questions like they matter, because they do.
Bet what you can lose twice
The blind bet returns your stake on a win but only takes half on a miss — the maths favours a real stake from a leader and a swing from the back.
Questions about Quiz Night
Is there a streak bonus?
No, deliberately. The flame on a run of right answers is for show — every question is worth its printed value plus your speed, and nothing else.
Who are Owl, Rocket and Sage?
House guests. With a small table they fill the empty seats and answer every question, so a two-player quiz still has a room to beat.
How long is a game?
The host sets the length — a short run is over in about three minutes, a full one closer to twenty. The blind bet ends it either way.
Can I play it alone?
Yes. Solo runs against the house guests, and the same questions pay the same way — it is the one party game here that seats one.
Is Quiz Night free?
Yes. Every game on Table Party is free, with no accounts, no adverts and nothing to buy.
How many people do you need for Quiz Night?
Between 1 and 12. Below 1 there are not enough of you for the game to work.
Do we need to download anything?
No. One person opens the site and starts a room; everybody else joins by typing the room code on their own phone. Nothing to install, nothing to sign up for.
Can we play Quiz Night over a video call?
Yes. Share the room code in the chat and play with the call running — everything private stays on each player’s own phone.
