What Ricochet is

Drop a ball, pick your line. Every pin it clips lifts the multiplier, so a long ricochet pays many times a short one — then take a charm and go again.

Ricochet combines aiming with score-building. Pins disappear after a ball finishes, so your first shot changes the lanes available to the next. The moving bucket gives a ball back if you land in it.

Every game is a run: five balls and a target on each board. Beat the target and you pick a charm for the next, harder board; miss it and you are out. With friends, everyone plays the same boards at the same time on their own board and watches the others’ balls fly across the same pins, and the last player standing wins. The same board can reward different plans: clear a useful route, target a scoring pin, or chase the bucket for another chance.

How to play Ricochet

  1. Drag anywhere to aim, let go, and the ball drops into the pins.
  2. Every pin pays chips and lifts the multiplier. Chips × multiplier is the ball’s score.
  3. Pins you hit vanish once the ball lands, opening lanes for the next.
  4. Brass pins pay 5 chips. Star pins DOUBLE the multiplier, so leave them till last.
  5. The ringed violet pin brings every vanished pin back, mid-flight.
  6. One pin burns each ball — the comet. Hit it for +4 multiplier.
  7. The bucket slides along the bottom. Land in it and you get that ball back.
  8. Everyone plays the same boards at the same time, each on their own board: five balls and a target a board. The others’ balls fly over your pins as they shoot.
  9. Miss a board’s target and you’re out. Beat it and pick one of three charms for the next, harder board.
  10. The last one standing wins. Out on the same board, or every board beaten? The higher total wins.
  11. At a table the round clock keeps things moving: at zero, any balls you have left are gone.

How to win at Ricochet

Think about the next ball

Removing pins can open a better scoring route for a later shot.

Watch the bucket

Its position can make a lower-scoring route useful if it returns the ball.

Questions about Ricochet

What do star pins do?

They double the multiplier. The ringed violet pin instead brings vanished pins back during the shot.

Do all players shoot together?

Yes. Everyone plays the same boards at the same time, each on their own board, against a round clock at a table. Miss a board’s target and you are out; the last player standing wins, and players knocked out on the same board are split by score.

Is Ricochet free?

Yes. Every game on Table Party is free, with no accounts, no adverts and nothing to buy.

How many people do you need for Ricochet?

Between 1 and 6. Below 1 there are not enough of you for the game to work.

Do we need to download anything?

No. One person opens the site and starts a room; everybody else joins by typing the room code on their own phone. Nothing to install, nothing to sign up for.

Can we play Ricochet over a video call?

Yes. Share the room code in the chat and play with the call running — everything private stays on each player’s own phone.
